The Tricom Research TCR-MPR-11/11B is a fly away communications kit for use with the AN/PRC-117G Multiband Radio. Rapidly install a LOS, SATCOM, or Wideband communications link virtually anywhere to include military and commercial vehicles. The compact case is a highly integrated systems solution for a single AN/PRC-117G with a TCR-MBA-50v2 Multiband RF Power Amplifier (PA) and TCR-DSM-02 MUOS Diplexer and RF Switch providing maximum capability and autonomy. Auxiliary RF input allows the operator to quickly utilize the amplifier and antenna connections with a second radio. TCR-HHR-11
The Tricom Research TCR‐HHR‐11 is a highly integrated fly away communications kit for use with an individual single or dual channel handheld radio. The innovative design integrates a Tricom TCR-MBA-50v2 or TCR-U/L-50 RF Power Amplifier, a TCR-SPK-DUALv2 Amplified Dual-Net Speaker, an AC-DC power supply, and a wide input DC-DC converter. The case is factory configured for either the AN/PRC-163 or AN/PRC-148C and either version is backwards compatible to an AN/PRC-148 or AN/PRC-152 radio with an optional adapter cable. The integrated battery cradle holds a pair of BB-2590 batteries providing system backup power for the radio, power amplifier, and speaker. Egress panels provide easy access for AC or DC power, antenna, radio, and handset connections. TCR-HHR-02/02A/02B/02C
The Tricom Research TCR-HHR-02 is a fly away repeater and communications kit for use with AN/PRC-148 or AN/PRC-152/152A (designated at the time of order) Radios. Rapidly install a LOS, SATCOM, or Wideband communications link virtually anywhere to include military and commercial vehicles or “TOC in a Box” applications. The two radios can be operated independently or set up as a repeater by connecting with a retransmission cable (user supplied). In a repeater application, the TX side radio is amplified by a TCR-MBA-50-WB RF Power Amplifier (PA) using a custom heatsink for forced air cooling. The system consists of the PA, connections for two BA2590 style batteries (user supplied) with integrated battery chargers, and a 115/230 VAC power supply. The enclosure includes an egress panel for easy access to the antenna, handset, PA remote, and input power. Forced air cooling of the PA and radios allows the system to be operated with the case closed for environmental protection. The Tricom Research TCR-HHR-05 is designed as a fly away communications kit for use with the AN/PRC-152 and 152A Multiband Radios. Rapidly install a LOS, SATCOM, or Wideband communications link virtually anywhere to include military and commercial vehicles or “TOC in a Box” applications. The compact case holds four TCR-MBA-50-WB Multiband RF Power. Amplifiers (PA), two TCR-SPK-02 Dual-Net Amplified Speakers, an AC-DC power adapter, and an RF switch that allows automatic selection of the power amplifier output port to the antenna port based on the mode of operation. The Tricom Research TCR-RCU-0X provides remote control of all operations and functionality of Tricom Power Amplifiers (TCR-MBA-50v2, TCR-U/L-50, and TCR-NXG-50). Innovative ergonomic design with multiple mounting schemes allows for use as a handheld, temporarily mounted, or fully integrated device. Display mirrors the PA, keeping the operator fully informed of status, and allows for the PA to be remotely located nearest the antenna reducing signal loss and improving transmit performance and receive noise figure. The Tricom Research 11000-00861 power supply is a 600W AC-DC power supply that accepts universal AC input of 90 to 264 VAC at 50/60/440Hz. The TCR-AC-DC-600 is more than capable to power any amplifier in the Tricom Research, Inc. product line.
